I tried to upgrade to Windows 7, but I received a message that I had to uninstall Windows Live OneCare. What should be handled?
If you cannot uninstall OneCare through Add/Remove Programs, you must download and run the OneCare cleanup utility. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click the link below to download the OneCare Cleanup utility to your computer. Then, click Save to save the download to the desktop.

2. After the download is complete, right-click the OneCareCleanUp.exe file on the desktop, and then click Run as Administrator.

4. After you receive the "This program will clear the Windows Live OneCare ..." message on your computer, click Continue.
5. In the End User License Agreement, click Accept, and then click Continue.
6. Click Clear to begin clearing Windows Live OneCare on your computer.
7. After the cleanup process is complete, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Close all running applications, and then click Restart Now.
