DB2 9.7 for Linux 5.4 Installation Steps

1Decompress the installation package

# Gunzip v9.7_linuxia32_server.tar.gz

# Tar-xvf v9.7_linuxia32_server.tar

2, Enter the decompressed file directory, and execute the installation:(We choose to install it manually)

Note:DB2_installFor manual InstallationDb2_setupInstall Images

#./Db2_install ------- no ----- aese

3, CreateDB2Groups and users required for running:

# Groupadd-g 901 db2grp

# Groupadd-g 902 db2fgrp

# Groupadd-g 903 db2agrp

# Useradd-g db2grp-u 801-d/home/db2inst1-m-s/bin/bash db2inst1--Manage current instance

# Useradd-g db2fgrp-u 802-d/home/db2fenc-m-s/bin/bash db2fenc

# Useradd-g db2agrp-u 803-d/home/db2das-m-s/bin/bash db2das --Manage all instances

4, Set the password:

Passwd db2inst1

Passwd db2fenc

Passwd db2das

5, Create an instance

# Cd/opt/ibm/db2/V9.7/instance

#./Dascrt-u db2das

#./Db2icrt-u db2inst1 db2inst1

Note:DBI1922NThe host name is not valid.Failed to parse error reported, in/Etc/hostsAdd resolution parameters to the file.

Note:

Dascrt:CreatedDB2 adminstration serverEach server has only one suchServer,DB2Management (such as the Operation Control Center) is required, and its management user isDb2das.

Db2icrt:The instance is created, and its name is generally the same as the management user name.Db2inst1.

6, StartDB2

# Su-db2das

$ Db2admin start----StartDB2Manage servers

Sql00009w The DB2 Administration Server is already active.

 

$ Su-db2inst1

$ Db2start----Start a database instance
