Speed-up of Debian Linux-Debian information for the Linux release. For details, refer to the following section. After processing with the following method, the startup speed of my system is increased by 15 seconds. Press enter from GRUB to start GNOME completely (Hard Drive drive indicator light off), it only took 55 seconds. Here I only process the startup of the kernel. However, it took about 30 seconds to start GNOME. Later, the GNOME startup will be processed.

I use Debian Linux 2.6.8-686, AMD64 2500 +, 512 M DDR memory, and basic IDE hard drive. By viewing the system startup information, I found that hotplug took a lot of time to start. So let's deal with it.

Run/etc/init. d/hotplug start on the terminal as root. You will get the following information:
