If you are using a dual system, you can easily access the grub graphic interface. However, for me, if you only install a system on a virtual machine, normally, the kernel is directly started to enter the system without going through the grub Graphic System Selection interface, because/boot/grub. timeout = 0 in conf. After you modify this parameter, the grub interface will appear. the following describes how to solve the problem:

1. Press shift at startup To Go To The grub selection page;

2. Press e in the grub menu to enter the editing status, move the optical bar to the kernel... line, and then press e,

Add a space and 3 (usually quiet 3) at the end of the line. Press ESC and start B to enter the character logon interface.

3. After logging in with the root account

# Cd/etc/X11

# Rm xorg. conf

# Reboot

In this way, you can retrieve your graphic logon interface again.
