[Help] switching the text interface won't return to the graphic interface! -- Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. Once you enter the graphic interface, no display is displayed when you want to switch back to the file. But the system is still running.
I am currently using fedora 10. I only installed fedora 10 on the machine, and there are no other operating systems. As long as I leave the graphic mode, I will not be able to return any more. I can only work in the text mode, press ctrl + alt + fN and press + F7 again to return to the GUI. The interface is full-black, including logout, this means that it is impossible to return to the graphic interface again if the screen is black or switched! Everything else is normal! I have used the following methods over the past two days:

Startx
Startx --: 2
/Etc/init. d/MCM restart
[CTRL] + ATL + F2 or [CTRL] + ATL + F2... F3... F4 .. And so on
None.

In # init 5
Only three lines of text are displayed... [OK]
Then there is no response.

I use an old integrated graphics card, and an Asus Intel 845GV integrated graphics card motherboard.
$ Startx
# Startx
None. The following prompt is displayed:
Xauth: creating new authority file/root /...

Fatal Server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove/temp/. X0-lock
And start again.
Xinit: Server error.
Someone said:
Delete the/tmp/. X0-lock file and start X Window with # startx
But after I delete the X0-lock, # startx is still the error prompt.

At the beginning of the boot, the graphic interface is entered by default. Even if nothing is done, it is useless to enter the text interface, so we have to reboot.

Can anyone tell me how to switch to the original GNOME image interface? Thank you !!
