RedHat $0.136 billion cash acquisition of cloud computing vendor Gluster

In October 5, the open-source software and service provider RedHat (Red Hat) acquired Gluster for $0.136 billion in cash to expand cloud computing services. In the statement, RedHat said that the profit for the third quarter of fiscal year 2012 and the year-round is not expected to change as a result of transactions. The integration of Gluster will reduce Red Hat's operating profit for fiscal year 2013 (excluding one-time projects) by 2012 benchmarks from fiscal year 150.

With Gluster, Red Hat can enter the storage market of $4 billion, also known as the non-structural data market, such as email and media content. Red Hat is the largest Linux software vendor. After purchasing Gluster, it can provide customers with more solutions.
