Some configuration and software installation after Fedora17 installation 1. Set the GUI to "root". You can log on to/etc/pam. d/TPD-password and find authrequiredpam_succeed_if.souser! = Rootquiet comment out # authrequiredpam_succeed_if.souser! = Rootquiet although using root to log on to the graphic world
Some configuration and software installation after Fedora 17 is installed
1. Set root logon in Gui
Edit/etc/pam. d/TPD-password and find
Auth required pam_succeed_if.so user! = Root quiet
Comment out
# Auth required pam_succeed_if.so user! = Root quiet
Although it is easier to log on to the graphic interface using root, I personally do not like this.
2. Set sudo
$ Mongodo
Find
Root ALL = (ALL) ALL
Add
* *** ALL = (ALL) ALL
* *** Indicates the user name to be added.
If you do not want to enter the password, add
* *** ALL = (ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL
Test sudo
To test whether you have configured sudo correctly, you only need to enter:
Sudo whoami
If everything is normal, the command returns the word "root.
3. Disable SELinux
Edit/etc/selinuxconfig
Set SELINUX = enforcing
Change to SELINUX = disabled

Sudo rpm -- import http://ATrpms.net/RPM-GPG-KEY.atrpms
5. Install axel and fastestmirror
