Sublime Text 3 Ubuntu users can now install it through PPA.
Initially, version 3.0 was only available to registered users (license fees of $70). However, the Sublime Text 3 Beta version and Sublime Text 2 are now available to all users, with no time limit.
Webupd8 creates a PPA for the software to facilitate installation and use.
To install Sublime Text 3 in Ubuntu, use the following command to support Ubuntu 13.10, 13.04, 12.10, or 12.04 (and its derivative version) by using PPA and webupd8 Sublime Text 3 PPA:
Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: webupd8team/sublime-text-3
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install sublime-text-installer
If you do not want to use PPA for installation, click here to download it from the official website.
