Error description:
When Oracle 10 Gb is installed on CentOS 6.3, the following error occurs: "/lib/i386/libawt. so: libXp. so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Solution Process:
Refer to: Installing libXp. so.6: cannot open shared object file in Oracle
The error message is that the 32-bit libXp must be installed. Run the yum command to install libXp:
Yum install libXp-1.0.0-15.1.el6.i686
Then, continue to install. An error is reported:
"/Lib/i386/libawt. so: libXt. so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
This is a 32-bit libXt installation prompt.
Yum install libXt-1.0.7-1.el6.i686
Each time you wait for the installation to a certain extent, you can find out which packages need to be installed through the error message, which is too time-consuming. Therefore, you can find all the 32-bit packages to be installed from the official documentation,
The details are as follows:
Compat-libstdc ++-33-3.2.3-69.el6.i686.rpm
Glibc
Glibc-devel
Libgcc
Libstdc ++
Libstdc ++-devel
Libaio
Libaio-devel
After all the above 32-bit packages are installed, reinstall them. The following error occurs:
Error invoking target 'collector 'OF makefile' $ O_H/SYSMAN/LIB/INS_EMDB.MK
This error can be ignored. If this error is not reported, the database is successfully installed.
