> Background
At the beginning, I got started with Android development and learning, and spoke about its simulator. the startup speed was so slow that I could not bear it. But there is no way. There is only one 4.4 system on hand. You can only seek help and simulator for testing the running status of previous versions and screen resolutions. Then we can see that the use of Intel tools to load the Intel Atom image can accelerate the operation of the simulator. After using it, the speed is obviously improved, which is recorded here.
Install software (take version 2.3.3 as an example)
Intel®Hardware acceleration execution manager. Click Open. The tool is described here. Win platform download: haxm-windows_r04.zip (1.0.8) or Mac platform download: haxm-macosx_r04.zip (1.0.8 ). As shown in:
Download the required version using the android SDK manager toolIntel x86 Atom System ImageAndroid 2.3.3, or API 10, is used as an example. Redlines are the Intel image files to be downloaded.
After downloading the package, open the package and follow the driver.
Create an Intel image Simulator Based on x86
- Open the AVD tool, which is used to create an android simulator.
- Create an android Simulator Based on x86. The configuration interface is as follows. Note the REDLINE part.
- OK. Run your simulator and start it like flying. The rest are the same as the original Simulator Based on ARM processing.
