1. Ih03:websphere message Broker v6-message display, Test & Performance Utilities (RFHutil)
This Supportpac is located in the Message Broker section of the Supportpacs page. This utility is extremely difficult to find if you do not know where to look, because the executable module it contains is RFHUtil more well-known.
IH03 contains a large number of programs, but the most brilliant star in this set of programs is the RFHUtil and client version of RFHUTILC. This GUI utility is difficult to learn, but it is worth the effort. Of course, it does some basic things, such as moving data from a file to a queue, or moving from a queue to a file. In addition, it also has multiple label dialogs that show all the parameters and options available in the WebSphere MQ API. Need to send or parse RFH headers? Check here. Tools that require quick testing of pub/sub. can also be found here. Need to set or check report options? Confirmation options? Reply-to fields, binding options, persistence, expiration? Everything can be done!
This utility is extremely useful for programmers when they need to be tested and when programs on the other end of the interface are not available. Typically, you need a specific set of message options or messages that require you to send a string that is not simple. RFHUtil can set these options, or send messages using a binary load or any other JMS format.
