The daily standing meeting is a key practice in the scrum method. It seems like a very simple activity. In fact, it has a rich connotation. If it can become a habit, it is still not easy. The main points of success are:

Therefore, standing meetings cannot be replaced by emails. They cannot be on the computer. They must look at other members rather than the computer.
2. The meeting is held at a fixed time and place every day. Generally, it is to go to work every morning, so that you do not need to be notified of every meeting.
3. The source of the project's extension is the daily extension. Therefore, to track the progress in real time every day, the Standing Meeting must be held every day.
4. Each meeting shall not exceed 15 minutes. If you want to discuss technical issues, you will have a separate meeting after the meeting. A few people will participate in the discussion. Note that a standing meeting is definitely not a long meeting. Why is it short to stand!
5. To avoid a long meeting, each member must answer only three questions:
What did you do yesterday,
What to do today,
What do you need help?
Other issues are not discussed at this meeting, but after the meeting.

7. The progress status of each task should be updated, and the task sticker should be moved directly on the whiteboard. An intuitive Dashboard of work status is also an effective means to understand progress and clarify goals. It can remind team members at any time where we are? How far are we from the target?
8. When a standing meeting is held, not every member reports to the project manager, but everyone is equal and the progress is synchronized to all members of the project team. This is also a culture.
9 external management personnel of the project team can attend, especially the supervisors, but cannot speak or give instructions and can only attend. In scrum, Team self-management is promoted.
10 if a person is always late for a meeting, punishment measures should be formulated to cultivate a culture of punctuality and team culture.
