When you turn on MAC address filtering, you must turn on the firewall master switch and clear the default filtering rules for MAC address filtering (if there is an ambiguous setting, click the Help button on the current page to view Help):
The following is an example to illustrate the use of MAC address filtering.
For example: only computers with MAC address "00-19-66-80-53-52" are allowed to access the extranet, and other computers are prevented from accessing the extranet, and the following settings are set:
1. Select the default filtering rule: Allow only MAC addresses enabled in the list of set MAC addresses to access the Internet
2, add MAC address filter new entries:
Add MAC Address: 00-19-66-80-53-52, status Select "Effective"
3, after the save to generate the following entries:
After the setup is complete, only computers with MAC address "00-19-66-80-53-52" in the local area network can access the extranet to achieve the intended purpose.
