Now many of my friends have a 1 GB mailbox. If not, you can apply to the http://cn.yahoo.com or http://www.126.com. But what is the use of such a large mailbox? Good question. First of all, we can store a lot of information, or even use a USB flash drive. I have more than a dozen emails in 1 GB. However, there is still a problem, that is, these email servers limit the attachment size of emails. Although some software can be used as a USB flash drive, many of these software are charged. This, of course, violates the original intention of sharing network resources, and is not easy to use. In fact, we can set the OE email tool that comes with the system to easily convert a large mailbox into a USB flash drive. Well, let's get down to the truth.
Set a new email user in OE, Click Tools-account, and click Properties in the internet account, under the server tag, check "my server requires authentication. (1)
Figure 1
This step is critical. If you do not set it, you cannot send a letter and click the advanced tag. The "send" option shows a check box with "split greater than" KB. (2)
Figure 2
Check this box and enter a number in it. If your mailbox only supports sending 30 M mails, such as 126, set this number to 10000 or another number. It is best not to exceed 20 M. (Here, the number is in the smallest unit of KB) to prevent OE from stopping the response.
Now, all the steps have been completed. Now you have a super large free web USB flash drive. If you want to keep a copy of the server when receiving the OE, you can check the box in front of the retained copy on the server in the "transfer" option below (it is strongly recommended to check the box to avoid mail loss)
Now all the settings are complete. Congratulations, you already have a super-large network USB flash drive.
Tip:If your file size exceeds 20 mb. It is best to use the WINRAR compression software to compress it, so that after downloading it on another machine, you can use the WINRAR volume compression function to decompress the package.
In addition, some friends reported that the attachment could not be opened when OE received the email. Follow these steps. Click "tools -- Options" in the OE menu ". Go to the security option and remove the check box before "do not allow saving or opening attachments with viruses" (3) under "virus protection" to open the attachment.
