What hardware do Linux enthusiasts like to use and which distributions? Recently Openbenchmarking.org did a 2015 data statistics and comb, Linux story deliberately organized a bit, share to everyone.

Openbenchmarking.org enables the new PTS 6.2-gamvik code base to be refactored, while using a more powerful server--which will keep our stats fun. We have been insisting on a different way of counting the different hardware and software components of the computer that is accessing openbenchmarking.org, so stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks, and welcome to share any interesting ideas. Openbenchmarking.org has over 14 million test downloads and millions of hardware and software combinations.
One of the first statistical features is the upcoming new version of Openbenchmarking.org re-enabled through the pts/openbenchmarking.org monthly tracking of different component information, such as graphics drivers, CPUs, file systems and so on. Here are some trends for the past 12 months, noting that those running Phoronix Test Suite are not typical users, but more likely to be software and hardware enthusiasts, enterprise service administrators, and other professionals.
EXT4 is still the most popular file system used in benchmark testing.
Ubuntu is still the most popular Linux distribution in benchmark testing, but CentOS, Arch, Debian and other distributions are doing well. The peaks of other distributions may be generated when the company uses the new thousands of onboard servers for benchmarking, rather than having a separate user stack.

Radeon and Intel's graphics drivers are still the most popular, most prevalent, and they are very competitive and Nvidia occasionally has bumps. VMware and Matrox are common because there are many enterprise users using Phoronix Test Suite.
Intel processors have no doubt dominated the market, with around 80% of the results coming from systems powered by Intel processors, followed by AMD and ARM (and of course, with a small share of other processors, I try to better classify and count these hardware, but I can't think of PTS Run on different architectures with often pre-production hardware).
ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards are the most common.
GCC is still dominated by compilers.
Please follow the new openbenchmarking.org mining to more Linux hardware and software data and information, beta to the next generation openbenchmarking.org should be implemented in the next few days, and then released in February Phoronix test Suite 6 .2.
