Microsoft's most convenient way to activate is Volume licensing, building a KMS server on the LAN, activating the KMS server (KMS host) online or by telephone, and then deploying various KMS Clien clients, of course, the number and type of licenses are related to the COA installed by the KMS host. That is, the type and quantity of licensed products you purchase. Currently KMS client can include Win 7 Pro, Enterprise, Win 7 Pro, Enterprise, LTSB Enterprise, WINDOWS R2 Standard, Datacenter, and more, including Office 2016 Office software. Using the MDT UPDATE 1 deployment system makes it easy to deploy clients, and because a product COA for a KMS client is public, the KMS client can be encapsulated in a master image to facilitate KMS activation.
I. Deployment task setting KMS CLIENT KEY
When setting up a deployment task, you can set the KMS client key, which is public by Microsoft, so it can be conveniently encapsulated in the master image. Note that not every version can take advantage of KMS activation, such as the WIN7 flagship version. If it is a volume licensing version of the ISO import installation image, you can also not enter the key, because each version has built-in KMS CLIENT setup KEY.
The following are the common KMS client keys:
Windows Professional:w269n-wfgwx-yvc9b-4j6c9-t83gxwindows enterprise:nppr9-fwdcx-d2c8j-h872k-2yt43windows 10 Enterprise ltsb:wnmtr-4c88c-jk8yv-hq7t2-76df9windows Server R2 Server Standard:d2n9p-3p6x9-2r39c-7rtcd-mdvjxwindows Server R2 datacenter:w3ggn-ft8w3-y4m27-j84cp-q3vj9windows 7 Professional:fj82h-xt6cr-j8d7p-xqjj2-gpdd4windows 7 Enterprise:33pxh-7y6kf-2vjc9-xbbr8-hvthh
Other volume Licensing keys can be found on the Microsoft website:

The following is the deployment of the Win 7 Pro Edition, the MSDN image can be activated separately from the retail version of key, or it can be activated by KMS or OEM.

Ii. setting up KMS host and auto-activation
Set KMS client setup key or the built-in volume licensing version, can take advantage of intra-enterprise volume Licensing activation, a fully automatic solution is to add the KMS address to DNS, the next is the simplest manual KMS host address, and then automatically activated.

View KMS activation, show that this client is volume_kmsclient, has been activated, valid for 180 days, if the client has been online, it can be automatically renewed, if the independent KMS run, need to expire in 180 days with the KMS host once, you can request activation again. If it is too long, the client will turn inactive and remove the authorization count from KMS host.
