7.4 SmartLink quick Configuration

Network management faces a problem, that is, it is not easy to configure external points. For example, a company has ten pivot points on the outside, because the general pivot points often do not have personnel with network management capabilities, the VPN configuration becomes a problem. The Administrator must either take a ride to a local location for configuration, or use a phone number for related configuration. In addition, the IP addresses provided by the ISP in many places are virtual IP addresses, which may cause difficulties in General VPN configurations.
QVM series routers provide the SmartLink function for convenient configuration, facilitating network administrators or integrators to easily build VPN. In addition, it also supports the passthrough function of different networks, reducing the problem that VPN cannot be established due to NAT translation in the future and requires additional configuration issues. The SmartLink configuration method is as follows:
1) The simple establishment of VPN solves the complicated disadvantages of the Traditional VPN, which can be completed with only the user name and password.
2) The user enters the user name and password on the client, and establishes a connection with the server through the SmartLink IPSec VPN method unique to Qno.
3). The central control function allows the VPN connection status of all external points or branches to be clear and can be directly controlled in the central point of the headquarters to go to the external point for setting.
4). The VPN disconnection backup mechanism allows the carrier to rebuild from another wide area network port when the carrier is disconnected, which makes the problem of ISP disconnection unable to solve the problem of external or branch data transfer to the Headquarters smoothly.
