7.8 Policy Routing

Some enterprises, due to their operating characteristics, have branch offices in different regions in China or abroad and want to exchange information through VPN. However, due to China's "South China Telecom North China Netcom" situation, offices located in the South often use telecommunications lines, while offices located in the North use Netcom lines, so the headquarters is located in the metropolis, there are usually opportunities to apply for lines from two carriers. When a single-line road is used, if the company uses a telecommunications line, the Office that establishes a VPN from the Netcom line will be unstable or the VPN will be dropped; otherwise, if the company uses a Netcom line, the establishment of a VPN from China Telecom is also unstable. If a multi-WAN router is used, the Headquarters can connect the lines of different carriers at the same time. In combination with the policy routing, the Headquarters can specify the branch offices of different carriers and establish VPN channels for each freely corresponding line, this can solve the cross-network bottleneck of China Telecom's North China Netcom.
Auto-Policy Routing configurations are available in the Qno chinamix router, and the CIDR blocks of different ISPs are built internally for judgment. You only need to enable the configurations. If there is no set range, you can also bind the protocol, specify the route settings, or manually enter a range. This can solve the problem of cross-Network VPN instability faced by enterprises.
