Back up Xen hosts
On the host where Xencenter is located, perform the following fame backup host data:
C:\Program files\citrix\xencenter>. \xe.exe host-backup file-name=f:\vmbk-s 192.168.1.1-u ROOT-PW test
EXPLANATION Note:
XE: execution must begin for all commands
Host-backup: The type of backup is host backup
Filen-ame: location where backup files are saved (XenCenter host disk)
-S: Specify the backup server address or name-U-PW don't have to say more:
Restoring a running XenServer host
1. If you want to restore the XenServer host from a specific backup, run the following command when the XenServer host is started and can connect:
C:\Program files\citrix\xencenter>. \xe.exe host-restore file-name=f:\vmbk-s 192.168.1.1-u ROOT-PW test
