Dear independent game developers:

Hello everyone! Today is a special day. I am very excited to tell you the good news: the independent game developer community was formally established. We don't need to be scattered in major forums, we don't need to leave the streets, and no one listens to us. We will have our own community, our own home, and a free stage for independent people!

 

The idea of creating an independent game developer community emerged countless times in my mind. Why should I create an independent game developer community? What is her value? Today, I will discuss and share with you the answers to this question. When I want to answer this question, I feel that I don't know where to start.

 

When I run on major game forums and read the experiences of independent game developers, I really feel the sincerity and selfless dedication of their hearts, in the era of mobile Internet and smart devices, they are eager to make independent games and create independent games. I am also aware that they are eager to pursue success and realize their dreams! They are selflessly building independent games for independent people and persistently creating independent games. However, the actual environment is cruel and the competition is fierce. Independent game developers are vulnerable groups. They lack development funds to compete with large companies and open sales channels with large companies. The hard work may fail to be completed due to lack of funds, or the lack of channels may lead to the failure to promote or publish the work. We are helpless, but we are also deeply in love. In the staggered reality and dream, we are struggling to create and move forward.

 

When I saw the development of independent games in foreign countries in full swing and achieved great success, I think that in China, we should also be able to achieve development and success. When Google and Baidu searched for an independent game community, they could not find one. The voice of independent game developers is distributed on forums and blogs around the world. At this moment, I can't help but say, "If there is a dedicated independent game developer community, how nice it is to communicate, communicate, and discuss on a platform ." This may be a luxury, but it became my original intention to create an independent game developer community.
