A method to sort and sort the data in Excel in a single column

1, start Excel 2013 and create a worksheet, click to select any of the cells in the language column on the worksheet, and then on the Start tab, in the Edit group, click the Sort and Filter button to select the Descending option in the Open Drop-down list, as shown in Figure 1, The data in the worksheet is sorted in descending order according to the data size of the column in which the cell is located.

2. Click the Sort and Filter button again and select the custom sort option in the Drop-down list that is open, as shown in Figure 2.

3, open the Sort dialog box, click the Add Condition button to add two secondary conditions, select the total score option in the primary keyword Drop-down list to set the total score to the primary key, and then set the two secondary keys to math and language, and set the order of the 3 keywords to descending. As shown in Figure 3.

4. When you click the OK button to close the Sort dialog box, the data in the worksheet is sorted according to the settings, as shown in Figure 4.

Attention

When you do a multiple-column sort, Excel first sorts according to the primary key in the Sort dialog box. If the primary keyword data is the same and cannot be sized, it is sorted according to the first secondary keyword, and if the size cannot be distinguished, the 2nd secondary keyword is sorted.
