Generally, you may encounter the following problems when installing Route 66 map:
1.When Route 66 is started, the system prompts "resource error" "resource error"
-- The map file is not installed. Copy the map file *. prm to the \ System \ apps \ route66 \ maps \ on the mobile phone storage card (elastic drive ).
2.The \ System \ apps \ route66 \ maps \ directory of the storage card (Elastic Block Storage) cannot be found.
-- This directory cannot be displayed by default due to security reasons. Use a USB card reader, set the computer to show hidden files, or install special software on your phone.
A simpler installation method:
Because the system directory is a directory that the system cannot display by default, it may need special software to see it, and it is also troublesome to find these software.
I found a simple method to create folders on the PC by following the path "\ System \ apps \ route66 \ maps \". The steps are as follows:
1. Create a system folder in any directory on the PC;
2. Create an apps folder under the system folder;
3. Create the route66 folder under the apps folder;
4. Create a map file under route66;
5. Copy the map file *. PRM to the maps folder;
6. Finally, copy the system folder to the root directory of the mobile phone memory card.
I have verified this method on N70.
In a similar situation, if other files need to be copied to a similar hidden directory, you can also follow this method. Theoretically, this method should also work.
