A solution for always self-test on the boot
1, turn off the boot HDD self-test method
Select "Start → run", type "chkntfs/t:0" in the Run dialog box to set the disk scan wait time to 0, and if you want to ignore scanning a partition when the computer starts up, such as C, you can enter the "chkntfs/x C:" command; If you want to restore the scan to C, use the " chkntfs/d c: "Command, you can restore all chkntfs defaults, except for automatic file check countdown.
But it's best to fix it with a DOS command, otherwise some use can cause trouble, such as some files can't be used, or use slows down.
First point "start" → "run" input cmd into DOS, and then enter a DOS command: Chkdsk d:/f.
For example: C:>chkdsk D:/F then reboot, and then after a self-test of the screen, the next time the boot will not be.
If there's a more powerful thing to do, use: Chkdsk D:/R.
For example: C:>chkdsk D:/R.
which
/F is to represent an error on the repair Disk
/R is to look for incorrect sectors and recover readable information (hidden/F functionality)
2, if you want to turn off the scan to open Registry Editor, select the "Hkey_local_machinesystemcurrentcontrolsetcontrolsession Manager" subkey, and then in the right window to find " BootExecute the key value entry and empty the value, and then press the "F5" key to refresh the registry.
