An ERP project I have done is an extension based on this structure, which can be used as an engine for Small and Medium-sized workflows.

Abstract:The development of applications for key services is inseparable from the support of workflow technology. Based on the analysis of the actual development requirements of key services and the traditional relational database service, a framework structure of a lightweight workflow engine based on the relational structure for key service development is proposed. The workflow model consists of three parts: organization model, information model, and control model. This article discusses in depth the reasons for using the relational structure and lightweight concept to design the workflow engine, the design principles of the relevant mechanism model, information model, and control model are presented in detail, as well as the specific representation and implementation methods. Its prototype has been applied to the actual application system. Practice has proved that using this workflow engine can significantly shorten the development cycle of key services.
