If a project is licensed under the GPL, all modifications and calls made to the project must be licensed under the GPL when republished. From this perspective, GPL licensing is a strong protection for developers: Prevent your project from being used in closed source projects. But the GPL is also a double-edged sword, and if you want to support both the GPL and the business authorization, then you must have the consent of all contributors to the open source project. So, if you are the only contributor, it will be easier to open up business licenses, but is the GPL an ideal choice.

The biggest difference between the LGPL and the GPL is that you can invoke the LGPL project's library file in a closed source project, and your own project needs no open source.
