About the installation of Python packages

Installation methods are similar in each environment, I use the Windows system, after installing Python, the Python installation directory and the installation directory under the scripts directory to join the environment variable PATH variable, if only one system user to use Python, System variables or user variables are available.

Take the Ipython package as an example, you can use the following 3 ways:

1. Command line execution: Pip install Ipython

2. Command line execution: Easy_install Ipython

3, if using the above method error, you can download. whl file to local, then command line execution: Pip install XX.WHL to install.

Download the IPYTHON-5.3.0-PY2-NONE-ANY.WHL to the local D:\Python27\Scripts directory, then cmd to open the command line,

If the local directory D:\Python27\Scripts has been added to the environment variable path variable, you can enter:

Pip Install IPYTHON-5.3.0-PY2-NONE-ANY.WHL

Otherwise you must enter the absolute path of the IPYTHON-5.3.0-PY2-NONE-ANY.WHL file, as follows:

Pip Install D:\PYTHON27\SCRIPTS\IPYTHON-5.3.0-PY2-NONE-ANY.WHL
