Add a new web project to dnn as a dnn module:

1. Create a project/class library under the solution in dnn, starting at http: // localhost/dotnetnuke/topics topmodules/XXXXX

2. inherit dotnetnuke. portalmodulecontrol from the user control displayed in dnn:

Using dotnetnuke;

Public class showspda1: dotnetnuke. portalmodulecontrol [, iseachresult]

Reference dotnetnuke in the newly added project

3. add your own connection string in Web. config.

4. dll and other copies and references

5. Set the properties of the startup Item in dnn to: configuration properties-> debugging-> Configuration Manager-> Create a trench for the startup Item to avoid conflicts.
