Add multiple Local Storage for the XEN Server. Assume that your XEN Server has two hard disks. Sda and sdb are used as the system disk, and the default Storage of the XEN Server also uses sda. What we need to do is to load the sdb to the xen Server as Storage. Step 1: Use fdisk format sdb (you can skip this step if format already exists) Step 2: view the hard disk information, find the hard disk information in step 1 format. /Dev/disk/by-id my sdb1, so you will see the following information (the previous id varies from person to person, not all the same) scsi-SATA_Hitachi_HUA7220_JK11D1B8JT09JZ-part1-> .. /.. /sdb1 Step 3: add the hard disk to the XEN Server and use xe sr-create content-type = user device-config as Storage: device =/dev/d isk/by-id/scsi-SATA_Hitachi_HUA7220_JK11D1B8JT09JZ name-label = "Local Storage2" shared = false type = lvm # The Storage uuid is displayed when the addition is successful
