Recently many new advanced DVD machines have mostly used progressive scan technology, such as Panasonic DVD-H1000, Pioneer DV-AX10, s10A and so on. This kind of progressive scan is different from the interlace scan used by DVD machines. What are the characteristics and benefits of this technology? If you want to scan progressive scan sequentially, you must first scan interlace scan. In fact, the current TV screen we use is interlace scan. Taking 60Hz of NTSC as an example, there are 60 screenshots per second, while every 1/60 pictures is actually a line-by-line scan, that is, the first 1/60 seconds picture is composed of 13579 rows, and the second picture is composed of 2, 4, 6, 8 rows, the third screen is made up of a 13579 Gbit/s line, which is a series of dynamic clips.

To understand progressive, we must first know the 2-3 pull down technology. 2-3 pull down actually refers to the method when a movie is recorded to lD or DVD. Taking NTSC as an example, the frequency of painting per second is 60Hz, that is, 60 images per second, A movie is made up of twenty-four images per second. To embed twenty-four images into sixty images, it is difficult to find a common value. Each painting is made up of forty-eight images, when three images are output, the number of images is more than. Therefore, two images, three images, two images, and three images are used to draw images, the film looks okay.

There are many methods to achieve the effect of doubling, of which 2-3 pull down is the most perfect. The machine will automatically detect the 2-3 pull down examples of the video, and then create each complete picture based on the scanning line of another dual/singular picture on each screen. The current progressive dvdserver uses this method to make a progressive image.

The split-row scan combines the single and double rows during the broadcasting, while the screen time for each single row and double row varies by 1/60 seconds, when the screen is merged, the screen is not clear due to some deviations. The number of lines of the screen in each cell in the Sequential Scan is the same. Therefore, the screen is clear when the screen is frozen. Among the three most commonly used sequential scanning technologies today, 2-3 pull down has the best effect.

When the progressive scan appears, the playing equipment must have a higher scan rate. The most common support is the computer monitor, but the picture size of the computer monitor, I believe it is hard to meet the requirements of audio and video fans. However, it may be a little difficult to enjoy the progressive scan image on TV. The current normal TV, even the chromatic aberration input of the most advanced TV model, cannot correspond to progressive, some models of TVs are equipped with VGA Sockets for computers. After another signal converter, the progressive color difference signal is converted to the computer RGB signal to play the progressive scan image.

Another method is to use Japanese hi-Vision TV, because the Japanese satellite broadcast receiver already has progressive output, so in Japanese TV, progressive is more common. In addition, it is not impossible to watch domestic pal TV programs on Japanese TV, and the cost is not too high. Moreover, hi-Vision TV can make full use of the high quality of progressive images, this is probably the best method.

The other is the projector. Most advanced projection supports progressive scan, because even before the progressive DVD machine is available, AV fans must add a multiplier to enjoy the DVD. You only need to pay attention to the horizontal scanning speed (horizontal scanning frequency) on the spec sheet that can exceed 31.5khz.

Some AV extensions also have chromatic aberration input/output options. However, not all AV extensions correspond to progressive signals. Currently, only two newer advanced AV extensions can correspond.
