Advtor (2 m to 3 m) is indeed much smaller than tor (20 m or above) size. It may be mainly because tor uses QT for cross-platform purposes.
There is download in the http://sourceforge.net/projects/advtor.
This default port is 9050, while the TOR is 8118. It seems that the torrc file can be used with the tor
There is no change to bridge on the interface, so it cannot be used directly in China.
Manually add several lines to the torrc file (the IP address may be different after bridge)
Bridge 72.84.197.182: 6342
Bridge 71.235.104.139: 444
Bridge 173.88.145.223: 443

The advtor also has some good information about the buffer node after the first bridge trip. The next login can be directly connected even if there is no bridge. This function is very considerate, saving every time you go to the bridge. I have never tried many nodes that do not use advtor. The buffer nodes are still usable, but they are always better than the TOR nodes.
Take a look, Here are several more files: cached-Certs, cached-consensus, cached-descriptors, cached-descriptors.new, probably recorded in a file.
