After Ubuntu is installed, what should I do? (2)

I am ashamed to say that it may be because I am busy, maybe I am too ashamed to write this article, but considering that there are still many friends who may need it, let's take a look at this article. By the way, many problems can be found on Google. The key lies in your ability to search information.
(1) I wrote some rough and obscure articles in this article. I also referred to some articles on the Ubuntu wiki. More importantly, I put together some important information, so here I posted the address of the Ubuntu entry guide on the Wiki: click here to view
At the same time, I have made some annotations for this article, that is, they are all needed.
First of all, I personally recommend that you use fcitx in kubuntu, but scim does not have much problems in my actual use. Let's take a look at my personal situation.
Then there is the use of QQ. If you are using kubuntu, we strongly recommend that you use Eva. If you are using Ubuntu, it is better to install pidgin instead of lumaqq, you can first find two Deb installations of pidgin on getdeb, first install pidgin-date, and then install pidgin. The system will prompt that the package is missing, and sudo apt-get-F install, OK!
Other articles on the Wiki should not cause any problems. I am still talking about the problem about the graphics card driver. This problem occurs on my kubuntu, install NVIDIA-Glx on kubuntu. For gf4mx, enable the driver, enter NVIDIA-xconfig, and restart X. For NVIDIA-settings, set it to 1024x768 @ 75, after saving X file, you can restart the system, or 1024x768 @ 43... after reading a lot of posts, I only understand that in the resolution settings of kubuntu, 1024x768 @ 50 is the actual 1024x768 @ 75. Therefore, I select one in kubuntu and restart X, solve the problem, and we can also find that Ubuntu's official support for KDE is evident. On the contrary, UBUNTU will not have such a situation.
I wrote this because I now switched to fedora7, so now I am most concerned with the yum speed. I also hope that the excellent source like cn99 will appear in China.
