However, unpleasant things are also happening: After the SAP server is installed, the system startup speed becomes very slow, especially after the sap instance is started, the entire computer will be hard drive crazy read/write for a long time, there is almost no way to respond. Sometimes this process lasts for half an hour or more. It takes so long to start the system every morning to go to work. I'm afraid the old conference is very angry...

How can I start my work right away when I go to work every day? It is a way to turn off the computer, but probably many companies do not allow it. It is unrealistic to bring it with a notebook. In fact, Windows provides us with a good choice, that is, "sleep ".

The so-called sleep means to store all the memory data on the hard disk at that time, and then shut down completely. During the restart, Windows startsProgramAll data on the hard disk is read and written back to the memory. This is equivalent to restoring the State before shutdown. All services and programs that have been started can be kept as they are and can be used immediately.

From the sleep principle, we can see that the hard disk should open up a space for storing memory data. It is a hidden system file under the root directory of the drive where the system is located, called hiberfil. sys, the same size as the memory.

To enable sleep, Open Control Panel-power options, select the sleep tab, check the enable sleep check box, and click OK.

After enabling sleep, you can enter the sleep state in several ways:
1. Use "Task Manager": click "Shut Down-sleep" in the menu. This method is valid for all computers;
2. Most laptops have a combination of function keys, such as FN + F1 or F5, to start the standby or sleep mode. Some keyboards also have a power key, at this time, you can also use the power options to enter sleep with these buttons: Open Control Panel-power options, select the Advanced tab, in the power button box, select which key to use to enter the sleep state. Generally, when you press the computer sleep button, the power switch function of the host is not in conflict. Of course, if you do not have a power key on your keyboard, you can also use "when you press the computer power button" to enter the sleep state.

Computers always have a "standby" function, which is set to save energy. I think this function is useless. After entering the STANDBY state, all devices are shut down, but the memory is still working, the CPU is also working at low power consumption, and the fan will still turn. If a notebook is installed in the bag, the heat dissipation is difficult, and the fan will run quickly and quickly, without achieving the purpose of saving power. Although it is faster than sleep, it is of little significance to us.
