A standing meeting, also called a daily meeting, is one of the components of the extreme programming method. A Standing Meeting will be held every morning. It is mainly used to communicate questions and solutions, so as to concentrate on the group.
It may be objectionable to hear this name. The daily meeting is really a sea of Wenshan! Actually not. Stand-up meeting is to let the participants stand for a meeting to shorten the time and improve efficiency. Generally, it only lasts for 10 minutes. Of course, depending on the number of people in the project, there will be a small amount of time. The topics of the daily meeting are very definite. You only need to answer the following five questions:
1. What have you done since yesterday's work?
2. From now on to the end of today's work, what will you do?
3. What hinders the implementation of iteration goals?
4. Are there any tasks added to the to-do list?
5. Have you learned something or made some new decisions relative to other team members? (Technical and demand ......)
The answer to these questions should be as comprehensive and concise as possible. Do not turn the answer into a technical discussion. If you want to discuss technical issues or want to detail what you learned in the previous days, you can ask interested students to stay and talk about it later. Generally, the answer order is determined based on the station location. Everyone is surrounded by a semi-circular circle, and the Whiteboard is used as the diameter. The students on the far left start to answer questions in order. The answer to questions is different from that of a general discussion-type meeting. When everyone speaks, there are few brief discussions.
Through such communication, the project leader will know the current project situation? Have you encountered any difficulties? You can also clarify the focus of your day, and communicate your problems and learned knowledge in the most convenient way, so that information can be quickly transmitted to everyone within the project team.
