Aliyun How to create a cloud disk
You can purchase a cloud disk (that is, a data disk) from the management console to enlarge the storage space of the system.

One instance can support up to 4 block of data disks
The maximum support 2TB capacity per common cloud disk, efficient cloud disk and SSD cloud disk maximum support 32TB capacity.
You can also choose to create a disk with a snapshot.
To open a volume of pay for the cloud, please ensure that your account balance should not be less than RMB.
Description: Current cloud server ECS does not support merging multiple cloud disks. After the cloud disk is created, each cloud disk is a separate individual, and it is not possible to combine multiple cloud disk spaces by formatting. It is recommended that you plan your disk quantity and capacity ahead of time. Multiple disks have been created, do not recommend a logical volume such as LVM, because the snapshot is for each individual disk, the LVM create use will result in the rollback of the snapshot after the data differences.
Log on to the Cloud Server Management Console.
Click the disk in the left navigation.
Click the area at the top of the page. Then click the Create Cloud disk in the upper-right corner of the page.
Select the region where the cloud disk is located.
Select the available area.
Note : The purchased cloud disk must be in the same usable area as the server before it can be mounted. The cloud disk cannot be mounted across regions.
Select the type, size, and quantity of the cloud disk. Then click Buy Now on the right side of the page.
Linux system
For Linux systems, after buying a cloud disk, you need to mount, partition, format, and then see and use the system.
