Aliyun how to set up an automatic snapshot policy for a disk
You can set up an automatic snapshot policy for the disk, depending on your business needs.
The name format for automatic snapshots is: auto_yyyymmdd_1, such as Auto_20140418_1
Description
When you create snapshots, there is a certain fluctuation in your disk reading and writing, and it is highly recommended that, depending on your business load, you should choose to perform automatic snapshots at a lower business load to reduce the impact on your business.
A normal cloud disk in use does not perform an automatic snapshot policy.
There is no conflict between the snapshot you created manually and the automatic snapshot. However, when you are performing an automatic snapshot of a disk, you will need to wait for the automatic snapshot to complete before you can manually create the snapshot.
You can specify the automatic snapshot policy that is performed through either a disk entry or a snapshot entry.
Disk entry: Perform an automatic snapshot policy on only one disk, operating from disk entry.
Snapshot Portal: To perform an automatic snapshot policy on multiple or all disks, from an automatic snapshot entry.
