Start, view, stop
This article describes how to start, view, and stop an instance.
Start instance
In the console, you can start an instance just as you would a real server.
Log on to the Cloud Server Management Console.
Click an instance in the left-hand navigation bar.
Click the area at the top of the page.
Select the desired instance. You can select multiple, but the status of the selected instance must be the same.
Click Start .
View Instances
You can view all of the instances that you have by using the console. The main things you can view are the following:
Number and running status of instances in various geographies
of a specific instance:
Basic information, configuration information, billing information, and monitoring information
Disk
Snapshot
The security group to which it belongs
To view an instance, the action is as follows:
Log on to the Cloud Server Management Console.
At the overview page, you can view the operation of an ECS instance of a cloud server in all geographies.
If you want to see the specific information for an instance, click the instance in the left-hand navigation bar, click the area at the top of the page, and then click the name of the instance that you want to view.
You can view the details of the instance, including the location and available areas, configuration specifications, billing, and so on. In addition, you can monitor CPU and network usage on the right side of the page.
You can export a list of resources by clicking the Export resource list and the custom list item .
In the left-hand navigation bar, you can also view and manage the disk, snapshot, and security group information for this instance.
Stop instance
In the admin console, you can stop an instance just as you would a real server.
Note :
A stop operation can only be performed when the instance is running.
Stopping the operation will cause your instance to stop working, thus disrupting your business, please proceed with caution.
The operation is as follows:
Log on to the Cloud Server Management Console.
Click an instance in the left-hand navigation bar.
Click the area at the top of the page.
Select the desired instance. You can select multiple, but the status of the selected instance must be the same.
Click Stop .
In the pop-up prompt box, select Stop and click OK .
Get and enter the phone verification code. Click OK .
