CHKDSK is the abbreviation for check disk. This command is used to check disk usage. Creates and displays a status report for a disk based on the file system used. CHKDSK lists and corrects errors on the disk. If Chkdsk cannot lock the drive, it will check the drive the next time the computer restarts. However, after the system starts, there is a wait time of about 10 seconds before running Chkdsk, and you can shorten the time by modifying the registry.

After you run Registry Editor, open Hkey_local_machinesystemcurrentcontrolsetcontrolsession Manager, and then locate the key value entry autochktimeout to set the value to "1" ( is to wait 1 seconds).
