Therefore, ArcGIS server9.2 and Oracle 9i are placed on another computer, use this computer as the server we developed.
This computer is installed with the Windows server2003 operating system and iis6.0, with SP2 patches and other vulnerability patches that can be found.
After installing and configuring ArcGIS server9.2 according to my essay ArcGIS server9.2 (2) -- installation and configuration, I want to go to the ArcGIS Server Manager page to manage and create an electronic map service, however, [access to the temp directory is denied.:
This type of error has never occurred. It was impossible to open the logon page after Windows XP was installed. Now this type of error occurs in Windows server2003. I think it may be caused by a Windows server2003 permission problem, the solution is as follows:
1. Find the temp folder under c: \ windows and right-click and choose Properties ".
2. Select "security" in the Properties window to check whether a [network service] user exists. If not, click "add ", add the user to the group or user name. (Here, you need to modify the permission for the network service user accessing the temp folder)
3. Set the following permissions: Modify, read, and run, list folder directories, read, and write.
In this way, the above errors can be solved. The final result is shown in the figure below (note the position in the red rectangle ):
The above error occurs when accessing ASP. net Program, and the solution is also as above. It is good to access static pages in iis6.0 of Windows server2003 SP2, because ASP.. Net program needs to use the c: \ windows \ Temp folder, and such errors will occur if you do not have access permissions!
