An error occurred when Outlook printed the message

Symptom: Outlook receives an error message when printing a message: Cannot print unless an item is selected

After you have expanded your help, you get the following information:

This error may due to a missing or corrupt Outlprnt file.? To correct this problem, restart Outlook.

If the problem persists and the file is present, it is probably corrupt and must it either deleted D so this a new file can be rebuilt automatically.? Search for the file, rename it or delete it, and then restart Outlook.? Outlook would rebuild the file automatically if it is not present.? This problem can persist if the drive are damaged, file is locked by another, or if Outlook is also corrupt.

Additionally, this problem can persist if:

The drive is damaged,

The file is locked by another, or

Outlook is also corrupt.

Reason: Outlprnt file corruption

Workaround: Search for outlprnt, including hidden files. Turn off Outlook, rename Outlprnt, and then open Outlook, print OK
