Multiple IE is a useful web development auxiliary tool that can coexist with multiple versions of ie3 to 6 in XP. The disadvantage is that you can use it to browse Web pages. Every time you encounter an ActiveX control (Flash is the most typical one), a pop-up window will pop up asking you whether O is not OK, which is quite annoying. In addition, multiple IE does not support Vista. But these are not big issues. The biggest problem is that the author does not seem to be updated for a long time.
(Shortcut-Based Multiple IE)
Fortunately, Jiangshan was talented. A friend recently heard that freeware named ietester has similar functions. It supports IE8 Beta 1, IE7 IE 6 and ie5.5, and Vista and XP operating systems.
(Tab-based ietester)
The current version of ietester is 0.2, the installation package is 23.7 m, and IE7 needs to be installed in xp. The running interface is shown above, and there is no problem of the OK window pop-up in multiple IE. According to the author, the following problems are currently known:
- When the window size changes, the page content may disappear (The author is improving ).
- The previous or next page function is abnormal.
- The focus function is abnormal.
