Application Analysis of smart street lamp ZigBee technology
In the dark night, the street lights light up the way forward for everyone. When the night comes, the street lights are lit up. As there are more pedestrians on the road, the darker the sky, the brighter the street lights. When the night begins, when there are few pedestrians on the road, the street lights become darker, saving energy for urban lighting.

So how does a street lamp control brightness coordination? It is the overall system of the street lamp control system. On each street lamp node, a level-1 terminal device transmits the road condition and environmental information to the level-2 terminal ZigBee concentrator via ZigBee wireless, it converts the signal into a GPRS signal for the public network and finally transmits it to our management center. The management center personnel make corresponding control based on the transmitted signal, adjust the brightness and brightness of each node.

This is our first-level terminal. Each street lamp node consists of ZigBee wireless module, core control panel, light, flow sensor and LED lamp. Each node receives commands through ZigBee, real-Time Report on the brightness and extinction of each street lamp, brightness adjustment, transmission of power load status, completion of lamp pole damage alarms and leakage alarms, receiving query commands from the ZigBee concentrator, control commands, etc..

This is the secondary terminal ZigBee concentrator, which consists of ZM5161 module, Iot-3960 Control Board and GPRS-DTU, mainly used to achieve the conversion of ZigBee signal and GPRS signal, transmitted to the control center through the public network.

This is the control center, which consists of servers, large screen projection display devices, software for the smart measurement and control system of street lamps, WEB servers, printers, and other devices, monitors traffic conditions and Surrounding Environment Information uploaded by a level-1 terminal in real time, queries work records, and effectively controls street lights in real time.

Overall advantages:
1. Replacing wired network with wireless network, significantly reducing wiring complexity and cable costs;
2. the wireless public network transmission method can achieve complex networking and ultra-long distance monitoring;
3. The sensor can work in multiple modes to automatically adjust the brightness with photosensitive sensors and traffic sensors to effectively increase energy utilization;
4. improves road lighting quality, reduces energy consumption, and achieves green lighting;
5. FastZigBee networking protocol has more available nodes, high transmission efficiency, stable performance, and simple secondary development.
