A placeholder image is a temporary Image used before the final image is ready to be added to a Web page. Using it, you can create a Web page without an ideal image-insert a placeholder image where the image needs to be used to "occupy" the "territory" first ".
I. Insert a placeholder image
Calibrate the light to the place where the image needs to be inserted. Select Insert> image placeholder to display the image placeholder dialog box, as shown in the figure:
After setting the parameters, click "OK" to insert the placeholder image to the page, as shown in the following figure:
The name and size are shown above. Check the source code and find that an image tag containing the null src attribute is added.
II. Replacing placeholder images
1. After the page is designed, we need to replace the correct image with the placeholder image. In DreamweaverMX (Dreamweaver MX), select the placeholder image, open the attribute panel, and click "Create. Dreamweaver MX starts FireworksMX (Fireworks MX for short) and automatically creates a blank canvas of the same size as the placeholder image, waiting for the graphic designer to "operate the knife ".
2. After creating the desired image in Fireworks MX and optimizing it, click "finish" on the canvas.
