ArcGIS Operations Excel file does not have a registration class workaround

An Excel table was selected when you made a table connection in ArcGIS Desktop, but the table was added incorrectly:

The reason is that the data drivers for office are missing from the machine.

ArcGIS Support:

• Excel 2003 and earlier versions of the. xls file;

The *.xls file can be opened directly in ArcGIS as a read-only format;

• . xlsx files for Excel 2007

When the *.xlsx file is open, a data driver is required. The above error is generally not installed on the machine Microsoft Office data drivers. It's important to note that if we install Office 2010 or 2013, or if we don't have Office installed at all, this error is bound to happen.
