Over the past few years, the entire domestic application of EAI, like the current SOA, has a crazy concept, but few practical applications, many failure cases, but few successes. It is said that two years ago, in the telecom field, we had already formed a situation where we did not talk about EAI. This was due to the fact that we had made too much effort earlier, and the lack of technology and overall information technology, this will inevitably lead to the collapse of most EAI projects.

Although the domestic EAI has been a "cold winter" in the past few years, many of the products that have entered the domestic EAI field too early have been hit by the market.

In this regard, IBM has always been thunderous and has little rain. The product architecture is very large, but many ignore the practicality in China. After all, "service on demand" is still too advanced for domestic customers. Bea is even more difficult, and the market is facing competition in all directions. It is plagued by "Mergers and Acquisitions" by public opinions, and many technical complaints have been made; after years of struggling, webmethod eventually gave up direct domestic sales. Vitria ignored international market development because of its high estimation of domestic EAI market prospects, it seems that tibco has become more intelligent in the last year or two. Before this year, there have been no major domestic marketing campaigns.

However, starting from this year, it is obvious that the "winter snow" covering EAI is melting, and domestic EAI applications are ready to go. Obviously, in the Banking and Securities Industries, EAI projects have increased significantly.

In fact, this is also in line with the current trend of information technology in China, information integration will be the foundation for the domestic group, integrated project application in the next few years. This is by no means an illusory "Information Island" that has been hyped over the past few years. It is an inevitable stage for actual business needs and integrated information applications.

BPM is too early, and workflow continues to grow

Over the past few years, I have developed many workflow applications and the BPM field is also relatively tight. However, I personally feel that BPM applications are still too early in China. In a short period of time (in recent years), the main information projects in China are still focusing on the construction of "Current Information Application", which is more straightforward and called "Auxiliary Business Process processing ", instead of "promoting business process optimization ".

The most direct proof is that there is no domestic BPM product in China. Domestic workflow manufacturers and their products are mainly "Process Automation processing" applications. Some products have some statistical functions, but that is far from the overall BPMSolutionThere is still a big gap.

The popularity of workflow does not decrease, which is already a fact of no earning.

SOA Concept

SOA is a good future prospect and certainly represents the development trend in many years. However, for the domestic application market, there are still many concepts. -- It seems that many technical staff think this way, and there are many technical discussions, it is a feeling that "SOA is too virtual ". -- But our customers don't think so. They are keen on this term.

Under the promotional campaign of giants such as IBM, Bea, and Oracle, many domestic customers have become no longer rational. It is clearly a simple EAI application, we also need to deduct the "SOA-based EAI application.
