AT&T will use Symbian as its main smartphone system in the future. According to the company's service department, Roger Smith said on Thursday,The company plans to use only one operating system in the future because it has taken into account too many systems in the smartphone market, resulting in poor operation. The system is likely to be an open-source Symbian platform.

Smith also denied that the operation would be detrimental to the iPhone. He said the iPhone is an external device and the third-party smartphone only uses AT&T's voice and data services. The unique platform is only applicable to mobile phones of AT&T's own brand.
