"Video memory size" (video memory size) (set to "8 MB" by default) is configured as the system memory reserved by the optional Integrated Video Controller. The settings include "1 MB" and "8 MB ".

Performance

Hyper-threading ("On" [on] by default)

Determines whether a physical processor is displayed as one or two logical processors. Installing an additional logical processor will improve the performance of some applications.

"Speedstep" ("On" [on] by default)

Allows the BIOS to modify the fan and speed of the processor based on the processor temperature readings.

Not all processors support speedstep. Therefore, this option is displayed only when a supported processor is installed.

"HDD acoustic mode" (HDD sound mode)

1 "bypass"-the computer does not detect or change the current sound mode settings.

2 "quiet" (quiet)-the hard drive runs with the quietest settings.

"Suspend mode" (temporary mode) ("S3" by default ")
