I encountered this problem, after n long search finally found the solution
Ubuntu Automatic shutdown command
sudo shutdown +100 means the computer shuts down in 100 minutes.
If you shut down the machine at this time is useless, shutdown and restart will become logout, you can use sudo shutdown-c to cancel the automatic shutdown command.
Other Related orders:
-K does not really shut down but only sends a warning message to all users
-R reboot immediately after shutdown
-H do not reboot after shutdown
-F Skip fsck during fast shutdown restart
-N Fast shutdown without init program
H-12:00 off at 12.
-QP 100 100 minutes to quit running program shutdown
Ubuntu cannot be shut down may be related to power management
Modifying the configuration requires four steps:
1. Open the terminal, enter
sudo gedit/etc/modules
Return at the last line of a file, add another line
APM Power_off=1
Save, close
2. In the midrange input
sudo gedit/etc/rc0.d/s90halt
Locate the following code:
hddown= "-H"
If Grep-qs ' ^md.*active '
/proc/mdstat
Then
Hddown= ""
Fi
And
Netdown= "I."
If ["$NETDOWN" = "no"];
Then
Netdown= ""
Fi
Comment out these two pieces of code as follows:
# hddown= "-H"
# if Grep-qs ' ^md.*active '
/proc/mdstat
# Then
# hddown= ""
# fi
And
# netdown= "-i"
# if [' $NETDOWN ' = ' no ']; Then
# netdown= ""
# fi
Save, exit
3. In the midrange input:
sudo gedit/etc/default/grub
Found it
Grub_cmdline_linux= ""
Modified into:
grub_cmdline_linux= "NOACPI acpi=off acpi=force APM power_off=1"
Save, exit
Enter again at the midrange:
sudo update-grub
and then reboot.
OK, shut down, try it, no accident, it should be able to shut down the machine normally
