China's traffic laws make red-green blindness impossible to drive because they may not be able to accurately discern traffic lights. In response to this problem, I think a device can be used to assist them in identifying traffic lights.
The principle of this device:
(1) This device is based on the Raspberry Pi micro Computer, which carries a camera and a small screen.
(2) camera to the direction of driving. It captures traffic lights at any time, and once a traffic light is found, theRaspberry Pi identifies the color of the traffic lights, and then displays the color values on a small screen, such as red, green, or simply a sound from the loudspeaker.
It's not too difficult to do this with Raspberry Pi.
Ideas to expand:
(1) In the existing products, the function of the driving recorder may be extended to increase this function.
(2) If you have Google glasses, you can write an app to accomplish this.
In China, the device has no prospects unless the law is released. In the United States, red-green blindness can be driven, but it is interesting that they cannot be in the first car, only with the other car behind. This device should be promising in countries such as the United States.
