Avoid embarrassment to customer proposals in Win7 demo mode

In the daily use of the computer, many people will be based on the needs of the WIN7 environment for various customizations, such as the use of self-portraits photos as a desktop background and so on. These changes will make your desktop environment more fit for your needs. In some cases, however, these personalization settings may cause unnecessary distress. For example, in the proposal to customers, show PPT, QQ or MSN constantly pop-up messages, and even friends directly sent to the "vibration" or sound ... This kind of embarrassment estimates many people have encountered, the solution seems to be only to replace the desktop background before the demo, to close all the programs that may interfere with the demo. This is cumbersome to operate, and in case of forgetting, embarrassing scenes will still appear. In this case, the most appropriate approach is to use the demo mode feature provided by Win7.

Press the Windows logo key +x key on your keyboard to open Windows Mobility Center, or if you do not have a Windows logo key on your keyboard, or you want to open it without using the keyboard, click Hardware and Sound-windows Mobile Center in the control Panel. You can then see the Windows Mobility Center main interface as shown in the following illustration.

In order to use this feature, you need to set it up first. Click the projector icon in the upper left corner of the option to open the demo settings interface.

After you open demo mode, Windows implements the following features:

• Ignore the configuration in the power options to prevent the system from automatically entering the energy-saving state after a period of inactivity.

• During the demo, if other programs need to pop bubble notifications or other types of notifications in the notification area in the lower-right corner of the desktop, Windows will be temporarily hidden.

• Use the demo to set the selected desktop background.

• Use the demo to set the system volume size you choose.

• Use the demo settings to configure the screen protection you choose.

As soon as you need to set up your own needs, each time you need to use your computer for a demo, as long as you open the demo at Windows Mobility Center, the system will switch to the already set demo state, and there will be no more embarrassing situations.

Small tip:

Windows Mobility Center is only available on laptops that are installed Win7 Home Premium, Professional, enterprise, and flagship, so it is not available for users Win7 home versions.
