BACKTRACK5-R3 Change Source

The default source server is foreign, the update will be very slow, so to change to domestic.

Required Package Address: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1i3ouc9v (64-bit update package)
Enter the BT system graphics mode-drag (language selector) file to the BT virtual machine and rename it: Select the file to change the name, right-click the rename, rename a, because the BT system does not support Chinese.

Open Terminal input:

CD Desktop Press ENTER
CD a press ENTER
Dpkg-i *.deb Press Enter//install all. deb files in a folder

Ping www.baidu.com Press Enter//to detect whether the network is connected, the request can be connected to the network, such as unable to connect to the network itself to handle the solution.

Open System-administration-software Sources (source manager):
Ubuntu Software Bar, the following four lines before the tick:
canonical-supported Open Source Software (main)
community-maintained Open Source Software (universe)
Proprietary drivers for devices (restricted)
Software restricted by copyright or legal issues (multiverse)

Download from: Select (Other)-china (mirrors.sohu.com)
End of selection: Choose Server

The updates column, the following three lines before the tick:
Important security Updates (iucid-security)
Recommended Updates (iucid-updates)
pre-released Updates (iucid-backports)

All of the above changes, point (Close)-(Reload), start the update, the update completes automatically closes the window.

At this point, the source has been changed, a folder on the desktop to delete.
